Responsibilities: Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor the Care Management team to optimize resource utilization and patient care. * Ensure compliance with payer regulations and medical necessity criteria (e.g., MCG, InterQual). * Conduct utilization reviews and manage denials/appeals. * Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote appropriate utilization of hospital services. * Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and utilization committees. * Educate medical staff on utilization guidelines and documentation best practices. Qualifications: Qualifications: * Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey. * Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience. * Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. * Proven ability to drive results and produce outcomes. * Board Certification by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP) preferred. * Membership in the American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA) encouraged.
