Responsibilities:

As our Rehab Tech, you will assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Every day you will prepare treatment areas, help patients with exercises and mobility, manage equipment, and maintain a safe and organized clinical environment as delegated.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting patient progress and therapist needs within the rehabilitation setting.

* Prepares patients for treatment and participates/assists in patient treatment while demonstrating respect towards patients, family members and care givers
* Preparation for IP taking initiative to perform preliminary review of patient's status, including communication with nursing staff, prior to PT, OT and/or SLP interventions in order to advise therapist(s) of potential change in patient's condition or situation
* taking vitals such as BP, PR, O2 saturation
* Organizing the room and preparing the patient

Qualifications:

Required

* High School diploma or GED
* Previous experience working in a patient care environment
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

Preferred

* Acute care setting and/or exercise field experience
* Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
