Overview: Provides clinical rehabilitation services to improve functional outcomes of persons served under the direction of the Physical Therapist in the areas assigned. This includes a focus on gait training, mobility, pain control, strengthening, balance and coordination activities. Actions are team oriented to successfully provide quality care and a high level of satisfaction for persons served through evidence - based practice. Responsibilities: Provides PT Assistant services to patients including, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited physical therapy assistant program. Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure to practice as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Iowa.
