Overview: Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Dallas, TX Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient Full Time Salary range: $80,080.00 - $108,804.80 Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience BSW Rehab Outpatient at Dallas Carroll Ave is seeking a PRN PT. We are a sports and orthopedic clinic just 5 minutes east of the Dallas Baylor hospital at the corner of Gaston Ave and Carroll Ave in Dallas. We have a strong history of working with local high schools, athletic trainers, and competitive sports programs to optimize continuity of care and a pathway to return to sport. Rehab services include non-operative and post-operative orthopedic care, vestibular and concussion management, treatment of the over-head athlete, and a primary hub for isokinetic testing for our Return-to-Play ACL program. The ideal candidate would be dry needling certified, have strong manual therapy skills, sports/orthopedic training, and have a history of program/relationship building with physicains and referral sources. Training and support of all the above skills is supported by BSWIR Outpatient. Responsibilities: * Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment * Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day * Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source * Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports * Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately * Promoting continuous quality improvement * Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed Qualifications: * Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required. * Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
