SSM Health Rehabilitation is looking for Per Diem, as needed, Physical Therapists to join our Lake St. Louis Inpatient team!

As the leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitation services in the St. Louis area, SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital delivers the specialized care and advanced treatment that enables individuals with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, amputation, joint replacement and other orthopedic trauma, and general medical rehabilitation needs, to rebuild their lives.

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital's three inpatient rehabilitation units are located within acute care hospitals (SSM Health St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis, and SSM Health St. Joseph West in Lake St. Louis) or operate as a stand-alone hospital (the 60-bed SSM Health Bridgeton Hospital in Bridgeton). This wide footprint in the greater St. Louis area provides patients with convenient, on-site access to very specialized medical care during their rehabilitative stay.

Working PRN for SSM Health Rehabilitation means that you can pick up hours at any of our 3 Inpatient hospitals in Bridgeton, Lake St. Louis and Richmond Heights as well as any of our 5 Acute locations in Bridgeton, Fenton, Lake St. Louis, Richmond Heights and St. Charles.  

 This is an excellent opportunity to be considered for Full Time Physical Therapy positions when they come available throughout  the year.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction.  Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.  Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.  Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.  Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Qualifications:

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.

Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
