Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients at the hospital and satellite clinics toward care plan goals. As assigned by the Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services they provide supervision of staff. 

* This person must implement the spirit and philosophy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and will ensure that the rights of the patient and/or family are safeguarded (by observation and documentation). 

Qualifications:

Minimum:

* Entry level accepted.  
* Completed all accredited education requirements to be in possession of a valid license in good standing enabling them to practice as an Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.  
* Ability to communicate effectively utilizing computer verbally and in writing in English. 
* Ability to perform basic functions of Microsoft Office.  
* LIC PT = Licensed Physical Therapist in State of NV. 
* CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA 

Preferred Qualifications:  

* 1 year of hospital based acute care practice.  
* Completed post graduate education or possesses certification or CEUs in Acute care geriatrics wound care orthopaedics pediatrics NICU & neurology or any other clinically relevant coursework/seminars.  
* Advanced experience with computer software programs and clinical documentation in Hospital based practice. 
* Multi-lingual Spanish Tagalog.
