Responsibilities: * Evaluates and treats physical therapy patients under physician orders in the outpatient and acute settings * Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to case load * Maintains appropriate documentation in the patient's medical record * Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the physical therapy department * Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family * Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patient's healthcare team Qualifications: Education: * Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), a successor organization of CAPTE, or an education program outside the United States determined to be substantially equivalent to physical therapist entry-level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. * Passed an examination for Physical Therapists approved by the state in which physical therapy services are provided. Licensure: * Physical therapy licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa * Valid Drivers License Experience: * Entry level/new graduate acceptable #FD123
