Overview:
Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics PRN Per Diem
Location: NovaCare in Washington, DC
Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)
Compensation: $50 - $55 /hour
NovaCare in Washington, D.C., is seeking local PRN Physical Therapists to join our outpatient orthopedic teams. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. We have additional clinicians on staff at each location, averaging 10-12 patients per day.
You must have at least one year of treating OP ortho to be considered.
Center Hours: Weekdays as early as 7 A.M. until 8 P.M. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close.
You'll treat a diverse patient population across conditions such as:
* General Orthopedics
* Sports Injuries
* Oncology (ReVital)
* Vestibular and Concussions
* Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)
* ACL Rehabilitation & Fall Prevention Programs

Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
* Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
* Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
* Participate in team meetings
Qualifications:
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
* Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
* CPR certification
