Overview:
***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services in support of medical operations under the LOGCAP / V2X program. The incumbent delivers patient-centered care for musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, and functional impairments while supporting mission readiness and continuity of care within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or equivalent clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
* Perform physical therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning in accordance with accepted clinical standards and evidence-based practices.
* Deliver therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and functional mobility training.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and improve patient mobility and quality of life.
* Document all patients encounters accurately and timely in the applicable medical record system in compliance with MTF, DoD, and contract requirements.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
* Provide patient education related to injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term rehabilitation goals.
* Support operational medical readiness and continuity of care in austere, remote, or deployed environments.
* Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
* Participate in quality improvement activities, peer reviews, and credentialing requirements as applicable.

Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* Education:
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
* Advanced training or experience in vestibular rehabilitation is preferred.
* Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Child Care National Agency Check (CNACI) clearance requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
* Public Health Requirements:
* Up-to-date immunizations (Hep A & B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza)
* Negative TB screening or chest X-ray if required
* Physical health certification with physician verification
* Licensure:
* Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in one of the following:
* One of the 50 United States
* District of Columbia
* Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
* Guam
* U.S. Virgin Islands
* Must be eligible for and able to obtain clinical privileges through the applicable Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Credentials Committee.
* Experience:
* Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience within the past three (3) years providing physical therapy rehabilitation services.
* Required experience and training emphasis in manual therapy and either orthopedic and/or neurological rehabilitation.
* Certifications:
* Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) and/or American Red Cross.
* Certification must be maintained in a current status for the duration of employment.
* Additional Requirements:
* Must meet all medical, security, and deployment requirements as determined by the contract and V2X policies.
* Must maintain licensure, certifications, and credentials in good standing for the duration of employment.
* Skills:
* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
* Ability to function independently in remote or resource-limited environments.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
* Cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse operational settings.
* Working Conditions:
* The worker is subject to vibration. Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
* None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
* Physical Requirements:
* Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
