Overview: SSM Health Day Institute Physical Therapist - Part Time - Float Kirkwood, MO This part-time PT float position will be based out of the St. Charles Day Institute and cover 6 Day Institute locations - Florissant, O'Fallon IL, Kirkwood, Olive Crossing, Arnold and Bridgeton. This will ideally be a 3 day/24 hour work week and will require dual licensing for MO and IL in order to cover the clinics. SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have nine centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. If you like working in a dynamic, collaborative environment and are passionate about helping the neurological and medically complex patient, apply today to explore a new career opportunity with us! **We have been recognized numerous times by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as one of the "Top Workplaces" in St. Louis!** Responsibilities: * Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction * Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients * Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities * Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self * Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required. * Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required. * CPR certification
