Overview: Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Responsibilities: * Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist * Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures * Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist * Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development * Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided * Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Associates degree from an accredited college or university required * Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required * Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
