Overview: Position: Full Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Location: NovaCare Bowie- MD Setting/Population: Outpatient orthopedics, neuro, and oncology. Compensation Starting at: $26.00/Hr. NovaCare BOWIE is seeking a FULL time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our large multidisciplinary outpatient neuro and orthopedic center. We are able to offer an outlined and defined mentorship for new graduate physical therapist assistants who are outpatient passionate. Interest in treating oncology is a PLUS but not required. We are willing to train all experience levels! Schedule: Full time 40 hour work week treating two days until 7pm. No weekends. Shanel Green NovaCare Rehabilitation 610-223-5944 Cell ssgreen@selectmedical.com Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. * Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures * Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: * College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program * Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE * Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) * CPR certification
