Overview: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location: 1400 S Orlando Ave Suite 207 Winter Park FL 32789 Schedule: PRN, Monday-Friday | Clinic Hours: Mon/Wed/Thu 7am-7pm, Tue 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-6pm Pay: $27/hr - $30/hr Select Physical Therapy is hiring a PRN PTA for our outpatient clinic. Join a team of experienced PTs and an OT in a supportive environment. Excellent opportunity for mentorship, with potential for more hours or full-time if flexible across nearby locations. New grads welcome! Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. * Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures * Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: * College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program * Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE * Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process) * Minimum 2 yrs outpatient orthopedics experience. * CPR Certification
