Overview: Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location: St. Joes - Tampa , FL 33618 Schedule: Full-time, Mon - Fri, 40 hrs/wk Compensation: $26.00 - $35.00/hour (Starting hourly rate calculated by experience) Incentives: $10,000 bonus and indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 2 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports med, POETS, and dry needling. Experienced outpatient physical therapist assistants and newly licensed physical therapist assistants, APPLY! Mentoring available! Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. * Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures * Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: * College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program * Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE * Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) * CPR certification
