Overview: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location: 9145 Narcoossee Road, Suite A 204, Orlando, FL 32825 Pay: $28/hr to $32/hr Schedule: Part Time - two schedule options available * Option 1: 24 hours/week - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday * Option 2: Wednesday 10-7, Friday 10-7 Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient center at Lake Nona. This clinic offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of one Physical Therapist and one PTA, treating a primarily orthopedic caseload. Candidates will benefit from strong mentorship and may have the option for additional hours if flexible with nearby locations. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. * Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures * Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: * College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program * Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE * Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process) * CPR Certification
