Physical Therapist Assistant

				Overview:

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: Land O' Lakes, FL 34638
Schedule: Part Time, Monday-Friday (Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-5)
Compensation: $26-$30 per hour (based on experience)

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team for up to 24 hours per week. We're looking for an experienced PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience.

In this role, you'll treat a broad range of conditions, including general orthopedic (non‑operative, pre‑ and post‑operative), neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputee care, fall prevention, and ACL rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
* Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
* Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications:

* College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
* Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
* Minimum 1 yr experience working in outpatient orthopedics.
* Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
* CPR Certification
