Overview: Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location: 134 E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, FL 33511 Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience. Incentives: $10,000 bonus. Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 3 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular and dry needling. Newly licensed physical therapist assistant and experienced physical therapist assistant, APPLY! Mentoring available! Let's foster your growth! Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. * Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures * Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: * College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program * Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE * Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) * CPR certification
