We are currently seeking a Full time or Part time Physical Therapy Assistant to join team at PattonState Hospital located in San Bernardino, California.
$29.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction of the Physical Therapist to promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services to incarcerated patients. Using a team approach, this person will provide quality care in a secure setting. With supervision, the Physical Therapist Assistant will implement the patients' care plans for rehabilitation and help mentally and/or physically impaired inmates to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
Qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
* California current Physical Therapy Assistant license
* Current CPR certification
* Corrections experience not required, but preferred
* Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
