Responsibilities:
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a per diem Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation service at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
* 100% Inpatient PM&R practice at a single hospital
* Per Diem opportunity with flexible scheduling to covier alternating weekends, holidays and/or vacations
* Join a tenured, multispecialty medical group established in 1976
* Work alongside experienced PM&R physicians in a collegial, team-based environment
* Collaborate with a full interdisciplinary rehabilitation team (PT, OT, SLP, nursing, case management, and social work) and hospitalist team
* Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and program development within a CARF-accredited setting
Compensation Details
* $1,560 per 8-hour shift (non-benefited, per diem)
* Flexible scheduling within a supportive, collaborative environment
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
* Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
* Experience with spinal cord injury rehabilitation is preferred
* Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain)
* DEA certification (or eligibility)
* Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
* Experience with spinal cord injuries highly desirable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to patient-centered, mission-driven care
