Responsibilities:
* As our Phlebotomist, you will help the Laboratory obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis so they can provide accurate laboratory services vital for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.
* Every day you will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis. You will be expected to use a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
* To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic Phlebotomist who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients and have completed an accredited phlebotomy program (with national certification being preferred).
Qualifications:
Required
* High School diploma or equivalent
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
Preferred
* Previous experience in a health-related field
* Phlebotomy Cert
