Medication Preparation & Compounding * Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, with experience in non-sterile compounding. * Performs sterile compounding and IV prescription preparation in accordance with PharMerica's quality standards and State Board of Pharmacy regulations. * Cleans and maintains sterile compounding rooms per USP 797 guidelines. Inventory & Supply Management * Participates in periodic pharmacy inventory, checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing expired items. * Reconciles and fills Emergency Drug Kit (EDK) boxes as needed. * Processes returned medications for credit or destruction in compliance with regulatory standards. Order Entry & Documentation * Performs order entry for new and refill prescriptions with precision. * Files documentation as required by pharmacy regulations to maintain compliance and audit readiness. Customer & Facility Support * Responds to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and accurate information. * Coordinates with facility staff to ensure timely medication delivery and resolution of issues. Additional Duties * Performs other assigned tasks to support pharmacy operations and patient care. Qualifications: Qualifications Required: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Ability to operate a computer * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Capacity to work independently and collaborate with a team accurately and efficiently *Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day
