Pharmacy Technician Trainee II

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

To provide appropriate training for Pharmacy Tech position which facilitates operational efficiencies by providing assistance to pharmacists through procuring, processing, and distributing information and pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communications skills
Detail and accuracy oriented
Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinical staff and personalities

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current Registry with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy

One of the following:

* Completion of an Alabama Board of Pharmacy approved technician training program

* Registry with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy prior to January 1st, 2020

* 2 of the most recent 4 years' experience working as a pharmacy technician

Desired Qualifications:
 
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
One of the following: 

* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
* National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certification
