Schedule/Job Specific Details: 

2nd shift 

* Monday - Friday 12:30pm-8:30pm 
* 1 full weekend (Saturday & Sunday) per every 3rd week
* Rotating holidays

* State pharmacy tech license required
* National certification preferred
* Previous long term care experience beneficial

Responsibilities:

* Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
* Provide high level of customer service by answering pharmacy phones and responding promptly to the requests ofcolleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel.
* Contribute to the efficient workflow of the pharmacy by maintaining a high productivity level and an error-free workproduct.
* Maintain the orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping pharmacy countertops and drug bay shelves tidy andorganized.
* Enter, access, and verify the accuracy of data in the pharmacy system.
* Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Familiarity with standard pharmacy concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced work environment.
* Ability to work cooperatively with both technicians and pharmacists.
* Flexible work schedule.
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Pharmacy Technician License that is current and in good standing with the State Board (Certification is preferable).
