Responsibilities:

In this position, you will assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders, and works closely with Pharmacy Management in determining routine daily department needs. The Lead Technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and work schedules. Provides direction and guidance to technicians regarding pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters. Assists Pharmacy Management in reviewing technician performance and is involved in providing and ensuring that educational opportunities are being pursued by each individual. Provides feedback to Pharmacy Management for annual performance assessments and ensures that skill competency training is completed annually. Accomplished in performing all technician tasks and functions, and is involved in helping teach technicians concerning new policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* 2 years Hospital Pharmacy Technician Experience
* HS Diploma or GED required
* CPHT Pharmacy Technician Certification required
* Colorado DORA Pharmacy Technician license required

Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to
10lbs force occasionally)
