Responsibilities:
 
 The Pharmacy Resident works in a pharmacy setting which provides a year of postgraduate training and responsibilities as prescribed by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.

* Completes clinical rotations under the supervision of preceptors in each specialty. 

* Provides pharmaceutical care and completes assigned project(s). 

* Compounds  prepares  mixes  manufactures and dispenses medicines and preparations in accordance with pharmacy law and accepted standards of practice. 

* Review appropriateness of current medication therapy. 

* Provide drug information to physicians  nurses  and other health professionals. 

* Perform and document significant clinical findings and actions. 

* Ensure all legal and organization requirements are met. 

* Administers vaccinations as appropriate

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

* Experience: 0 years s experience 

* Licenses/Certifications: Valid Pharmacy Extern/Intern License in state of practice and Valid Pharmacy License in state of practice within 90 days of employment AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute  American Heart Association  or American Red Cross.
