Responsibilities:
Performs general clerical duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the assigned pharmacy. Work includes (but is not limited to) activities such as: stocking prescription and OTC medications, stocking non-pharmaceutical items for sale, medication delivery, answering phones, and performing charge and credit functions. Other duties may include, in accordance with state law, typing prescription labels, filing, entering information into a computer system, and may label drugs for subsequent use in
dispensing operations.
Qualifications:
* Any combination of experience and education that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
* Knowledge of basic medical terminology and abbreviations preferred
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
