We're looking for a passionate, patient-focused Pharmacist to play a key role on our clinical care team. In this dynamic position, you'll provide hands-on patient care, deliver expert medication guidance, and serve as a trusted resource for our medical and nursing staff. You'll also take the lead in supporting and overseeing our dedicated Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:
* Reviews medication orders and patient profiles for drug/drug and drug/allergy interactions and therapeutic duplications.
* Makes recommendations to providers and documents interventions.
* Participates in monitoring medications for safety and effectiveness.
* Perform medication verification as required by law.
* Oversee technician preparation of medication orders including hospital compounded medications.
* Participates in product selection, procurement and receiving of pharmaceuticals.
Qualifications:
Education:
* B.S. Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
License(s)/Certification(s):
* Must be licensed or obtain licensure to practice Pharmacy in Iowa and Illinois within six months of employment. Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Pharmacist license is obtained. *IL State License will be reimbursed by UnityPoint Health*
Experience:
* Appropriate pharmacy setting experience preferred, but not required.
