Overview:
The Pharmacist Informaticist is responsible for the following:
* Lead informatics activities for enterprise pharmacy operations.
* Optimize operation and utilization of technology assisted IV workflow (TAWF) systems.
* Partner with Pharmacy Automation on database management and project deliverables for pharmacy information systems (PIS).
* Analyze and interpret data from PIS to deliver recommendations to pharmacy business leaders.
* Monitor and report adoption and compliance with recommendations to enterprise Manager Pharmacy Operations.
* Evaluate technology solutions that can support advancements in clinical and operational workflows.
* Liaise between pharmacy, IT and other business partners and vendors during research, design, testing, implementation and process improvements for PIS and EHR/CPOE (i.e. Epic).

Qualifications:
* Education: Graduate Degree Required PharmD or B.S. Pharmacy.
* Experience: 2 years Hospital pharmacy Required. 1 year Gravimetric TAWF Required.
* Licensure/Certification: Pharmacist license - North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Required. Epic Willow certification Required. BPS Certification in Sterile Compounding Preferred.
* Additional skills required: Considerable knowledge and application of basic math skills, including ratio and proportion relationships; Moderate to expert level proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Previous experience with and working knowledge of acute and ambulatory care drug distribution systems. Proficiency at sterile technique, IV drug preparation and distribution. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Accurate and effective communication under pressure; Good writing skills; ability to record information accurately. Ability to meet deadlines. Good attendance record. Good customer service skills. Good organizational skills and teamwork.
* Additional skills preferred: Experience with public speaking; Experience with collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building. Demonstrate optimism; a positive attitude; approachable and adaptive to change. Moderate to expert level proficiency with MS Access, MS Teams, MS Project, MS Visio, and Power BI.
