Responsibilities:

CHI St Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND is looking for a Full Time Nurse Educator for Perioperative Services. This role offers a $5,000 sign on bonus!
Job Summary
Works under the supervision of the Regulatory and Education Supervisor. Assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates nursing and specific staff development programs according to policies and procedures while maintaining standards of the North Dakota State Nurse Practice Act. 
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for developing, reviewing, updating, coordinating, and providing and/or teaching the following clinical programs/services:
* General Nursing Orientation 
* Basic Skills Labs (ie. IV pump, NG tube, chest tubes, blood transfusions)
* Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Orientation 
* Assists with Nurse Residency Program as needed

* Assists with coordinating, offering, and/or instruction of a variety of other organizational and clinical education activities.

MNA Work Agreement:This will be a unionized position, with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, excluding weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience

* BSN in Nursing 
* Completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date 
* Must hold a valid RN compact multistate license to practice in North Dakota 
* Minimum three years relevant nursing experience

Preferred Education

* MSN with emphasis in Education
