Per Diem Registered Nurse (MFM)

				Overview:

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assess health conditions, develop and implement personalized care plans, and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities include administering nursing care to patients with various needs, offering guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention, and supporting case management when necessary.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain active state RN license and uphold patient confidentiality.
* Assess patient health, prepare reports, and assist physicians during exams and procedures.
* Perform testing, administer medications using universal precautions, and document all care accurately.
* Schedule appointments, provide telephone triage, and communicate results and instructions to patients.
* Ensure proper specimen labeling and submission to labs.
* Support revenue cycle by securing authorizations and documenting CPT/ICD-10 codes.
* Deliver compassionate, respectful care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
* Follow OSHA standards, universal precautions, and patient satisfaction guidelines. 

Qualifications:

Education: 

* Must possess a current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state that they are providing services.
* Must maintain CPR and BLS certification.

Skills/Abilities:

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
