Overview: Outstanding Opportunity To Join Our Growing Pediatric Emergency Practice! Responsibilities: Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatrician to work in the ER along side a PEMs physician. * State-of-the-art 30-bed pediatric ER. * Volumes approaching 55K. * Excellent subspecialty coverage . * Affiliated robust PICU, CVICU, NICU, and Hospitalist programs. * Child life and peds social work have a strong ER presence. * Practitioner staffing is well balanced. * Full scribe coverage. * Peds, EM and FP residents and we are a hosting site for Pediatric ER Fellows. * Full-time position is twelve 12-hour shifts/month. About the Area The suburbs of Las Vegas are very family friendly. Housing is reasonable, there is no state income tax, property taxes are very low and outdoor activities are endless and incredible. The weather is fantastic and there are some great restaurants. If you are into hockey, football and baseball, we have you covered with professional sports teams. For water activities, check out Lake Mead. Las Vegas is the gateway to incredible outdoor activities in CA, UT and AZ. Qualifications: BC/BE Pediatrician Current or recent in-patient hospital experience is required
