Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Rio Rancho , NM. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights

* Monday - Friday Schedule: Provider will have 34 hours of scheduled patient care and 6 hours of administrative time per week. 4-day work week option. 
* Patient Volume is average 20 to 22 patients per day
* 100 % Outpatient - no newborn deliveries or newborn nursery

What We're Seeking:

* Must be BC/BE in Pediatrics
* Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
* Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
* Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

Responsibilities:
*Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
*Manage the physician/patient relationship.
*Participate in system wide health management initiatives.
*Provide input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
*Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
*Receive and resolve patient complaints.
*Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
*Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Credentials Required: 
M.D. /D.O. Board-eligible or certified with State of New Mexico Medical License.
