Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

				Overview:

Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical group, has multiple opportunities at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in the newborn nursery for outstanding Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team of experienced providers.

Responsibilities:

* The successful candidate will work with pediatricians, neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to care exclusively for newborn patients.
* Work directly along side another PNP in a well established NBN with an average daily census of 15 patients. Backed up by the Pediatric hospitalist.
* Responsibilities include: Perform physical exams on all newborns, use evidence-based practice to guide care/decision making, round with the attending pediatrician/neonatologist, complete documentation and billing.

Qualifications:

* Current APRN national specialty certification
* Minimum of a master's degree
