Overview: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Newborn Nursery - Sunny Southwest Florida Responsibilities: Pediatrix(r) Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our established neonatology practice in Fort Myers, Florida. Position Highlights * Provide attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital, a Level I low‑risk delivery service * Responsibilities include daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance * Flexible scheduling with 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts * Back‑up coverage from home for added work‑life balance * Supported by a robust, experienced team of 10 neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Golisano Children's Hospital * Hospital affiliated with a state‑of‑the‑art, 70‑bed Level III NICU * Ideal candidates will have strong prior experience in a newborn nursery About Cape Coral Hospital * Community hospital within the Lee Health System * Single‑room maternity care model, allowing families to remain in one suite throughout labor, delivery, and recovery * Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade, 4‑Star Baby‑Friendly(r) Hospital designation * Seamless collaboration with Golisano Children's Hospital, the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami Why Fort Myers?
