Pediatric Hospitalist Practice Medical Director Position Highlights:
* Leadership Role: Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the pediatric hospitalist program
* Clinical Engagement: Maintain active inpatient pediatric practice, including daytime rounding
* On-Call Coverage: Out-of-house call with a 30-minute response time
Key Responsibilities of Pediatric Hospitalist Leader:
* Medical direction and oversight of pediatric inpatient services
* Collaboration with hospital administration and multidisciplinary teams
* Oversight of quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and best practices
* Attendance at deliveries as requested
* Performance of newborn circumcisions
* Coordination of stabilization and transport when needed
* Support of physician scheduling, mentoring, and program development

Qualifications:
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
