Overview: ** Per Diem ** Pediatric Hospitalists Opportunities Available in SouthEast Ohio - Apply Today! Responsibilities: Pediatrix Medical group is seeking board-certified Pediatricians to join our team at OhioHealth Obleness Hospital in Athens, OH on a per diem basis to provide coverage of the Newborn Nursery. * Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists - No Pediatric floor coverage * 24 hour shift of rounding plus offsite call * Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circs * Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients. * Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. * Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices. * Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers. Qualifications: * Board Certified in Pediatrics required * Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience required * Active OH License or IMLC license preferred * Recent clinical experience required (within the last 12 months)
