Overview: Exciting part time opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist with teaching opportunities in Baltimore Responsibilities: We are seeking a part time BC/BE per diem pediatrician to be part of our hospitalist team at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore, Maryland. * 20-bed inpatient unit with the hospitalist team managing an ADC of 5-7 patients * Full time support from an array of pediatric subspecialties as well as pediatric intensivists * Patients are drawn from the pediatric emergency department, general and subspecialty outpatient offices, and surrounding hospitals Responsibilities * Clinical responsibilities include caring for general inpatient pediatric patients, co-management of pediatric subspecialty patients, and providing inpatient consultations as needed * This is a teaching service with attendings supervising and teaching learners of all levels * Responsibilities include seeing new admissions and rounding on patients while in house during the day, and taking call from home at night * Hospitalist attendings are active members of Sinai's division of pediatric hospital medicine and the larger Sinai pediatric faculty Part time commitment is 7 weeks per year.
