Overview: CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities. Responsibilities: As our Clinic Peds Nurse, at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help the healthcare team who contributes to the success the practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. Every day you will collaborate with our providers to diagnose and treat patients with various illnesses, from the common cold to chronic conditions.. You will be expected to focus on wellness programs such as comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, and preventative health education for all patient populations. To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of pediatric development and common childhood illnesses, along with a compassionate approach to patient care. Responsibilities: * Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures. * Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality. * Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition. * Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Qualifications: Required * Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) * Candidates must hold an RN license that qualifies them to work as an RN in North Dakota (either an ND RN license or a compact RN license issued in another state) * American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Suport (BLS)
