Overview:
* Sitting for extended periods of time in from of computer screen.
* Self Motivated.
* Capable of reading and following instructions
Responsibilities:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Effective Communication Skills both Verbal and Written
* Must possess excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy
* Must be a self-starter, and work well as part of a team
* Computer Competency (Word, Excel, Windows navigation)
* Must understand the importance of confidentiality
* Must have basic math / accounting skills
* Payroll / Accounting background helpful
* Effective Communication Skills both Verbal and Written
Qualifications:
* Maintain various payroll files and spreadsheets
* Learn the timekeeping software and be able to help Skywest locations as needed
* Process Garnishment paperwork and all related tasks
* Answer payroll related calls and emails from SkyWest employees
* Calculate final hours and deductions for Termination checks
* Process Payroll changes
* Processing of various payroll forms ie. Direct Deposit, Purchases, W-4, Verification of Employment, etc
* Help verify that payroll database information is accurate
* Help out as needed with other projects
* Critical Thinker and has background in Xcel.
* Works independently as well as a team unit
