Our Payroll Specialist IV plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting various payroll-related functions across the organization. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

You Will be responsible for

* Review, audit, and finalize employees' time records; ensure accurate posting and collaborate with designated personnel to resolve any discrepancies
* Process payroll, including but not limited to audit reports (weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly), direct deposit transmission, and pay card processing
* Administer and process wage assignments such as garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, and other court-ordered or legally mandated deductions in accordance with applicable laws and timelines
* Process supplemental payment requests
* Perform periodic overpayment calculations and adjustments
* Manage updates to employee earnings related to prizes, bonuses, miscellaneous pay, and other ad hoc payments in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations
* Support acquisitions by assisting with payroll integration and data validation
* Process severance payments in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
* Handle year-end tasks, including reporting, reconciliation, and other tasks as needed
* Work closely with all levels of personnel, including Human Resources, Field Location Managers, Brand Leaders, Vice Presidents, and Accounting, to resolve payroll issues and support business needs
* Build and maintain strong relationships through effective communication, consistent support, and collaborative meetings
* Respond to inquiries via phone, email, Service Now, People Assist, and Microsoft Teams while delivering a high level of customer service
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll information and employee data
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and perform additional duties or responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

* High School or equivalent is a must, some college is a plus
* At least three years of payroll experience
* Intermediate Microsoft software knowledge (Excel experience required)
* Data entry skills are necessary
* Must have good communication skills, both written and oral, able to work in a group environment, and excellent customer service skills
* Must be detail-oriented and computer literate

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

* We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.  Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations
* Must reside in the metro Atlanta area
