Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead analysis of payment performance and customer experience, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization across the payment lifecycle
* Drive prioritization, planning, and execution of new payment-related functions and projects to support a positive customer experience and strong team performance
* Own execution of all customer and partner payment release activities from a Billing & Credit (B&C) perspective, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
* Evaluate business opportunities and translate needs into actionable initiatives aligned with organizational and departmental goals
* Influence cross-functional stakeholders, including executive leadership, through clear and effective communication to enable successful implementation of new processes and capabilities
* Serve as the primary POC and SME for payment functions, analyzing end-to-end processes and implementing system and process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and optimize resource allocation
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* A plus if you have experience with Card and/or EFT payment acceptance from a Merchant or Service Provider perspective
* Experience with SQL OR demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with and work alongside technical teams (Data Analysts, Front and Back-end Developers, API Architects, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision while producing results towards operational goals
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions, and exposure to Macros
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments
