BREAKING NEWS!  EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A PATTERN PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT MPI!!

As a Pattern Production Technician, you will play a key role in creating precision wax patterns and assemblies that power the investment casting process. In this hands-on role, you'll operate both manual and automated wax injection and assembly equipment, set up and change over tooling for new jobs, and fine-tune processes to ensure top-quality results. You'll also inspect and repair wax components, assist with packaging and shipping, and deliver finished products to customers.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
* Package and ship products according to established procedures, without direct supervision.
* Manual wax assembly.
* Clean and maintain work areas.
* Efficiently operate manual and automated wax injection equipment.
* Efficiently operate automated wax assembly equipment.
* Inspect and repair wax patterns and assemblies.
* Identify injection/assembly defects.
* Changeover wax and tool to set up machines for new jobs.
* Create injection recipes for new parts.
* Adjust injection recipes to eliminate defects or optimize cycle time.
* Deliver production orders to customers in box truck.
* MPI is a LEAN company and maintaining your work area and tools in a clean, safe, and organized manner is a requirement.
* Follow all Personal Protection Procedures and Requirements.
* Compliance with all OSHA and MPI Safety Procedures.
* Follow Quality Control procedures and operating instructions while operating equipment.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
* Supports MPI lean culture by attending and participating in daily lean meetings while supporting efforts to make continuous improvements throughout MPI.

Qualifications:
What You'll Bring
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to speak effectively with employees of organizations including fellow workers, engineering staff and supervisors.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Moderate computer skills.
* Valid drivers license.
