Previous hospital experience preferred. * Transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher, to appointments, procedures, therapy sessions, and group activities. * Assists with meal services on the nursing units as directed. * Operates elevators for use by patients (as applicable). * Distributes mail, flowers and packages to patients. * Transports specimens as needed. * Reports changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinician. * Assists with ADLs and rehabilitation techniques on the nursing unit to maximize patient recovery. * Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications: One or more years hospital experience preferred.
