Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from OSF medical facilities, utilizing the OSF transport vehicle. This position assists patients who do not have a ride to and from their appointments in order to ensure appropriate access to care. The Driver may need to assist patients, operate a wheelchair lift, ensure the vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe condition, and report any potential maintenance requests or warnings. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma/ GED * Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. * CPR - American Heart Association, BLS * Ability to exercise independent judgment in times of need and emergency situations. * At least 18 years of age.
