Identifies organizational opportunities for delivering a superior patient experience based on customer feedback, proactive consultation, satisfaction results, and analysis of complaints and grievances. Oversees patient and customer service focus for the hospital creating a supporting and healing environment for the patient and their families. Responsible for entity specific Patient Safety and HRO program through the development of standard programming and the facilitation of process improvements that support the reduction of patient care errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. Facilitate the development, analysis, categorization, and reporting of entity specific adverse events data to help guide improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Minimum Experience Requirements

* 3 years of related experience in hospitality or public relations.
* Previous experience with clinical operations, safety/risk/quality management, perforamnce improvement and education.
* Meeting and project improvement facilitation preferred.
* Ability to create and present quality data using tools such as Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of Joint Commission hospital standards and CMS regulations and occurrence reporting requirements.
* Alternate dispute resolution training and/or mediation training or certification and/or conflict resolution training preferred.
* Strong communication and presentation skills Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations

Education Requirement

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Nursing or other clinical discipline preferred.
