Responsibilities:

1. Uses patient information to accurately assign patient placement based on condition, admitting diagnosis, etc.

2. Accurately takes patient information related to patient condition and takes any verbal orders correctly

3. Answers calls from physician offices, hospitals and other areas and departments in a timely manner. Is able to multi-task effectively

4. Though the use of Teletracking, notifies appropriate areas of admissions in a timely manner.

5. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Required Education: Graduate from approved Nursing Program,

 

Required Licensure and Certifications: TN LPN or RN licensure Professional Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurse

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Competency with computers, fax, telephone and photo copying required. Familiarity with the Meditech & Teletracking system preferred. Excellent organizational skills required. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with physicians and physician office staff.

 

PREFERRED Qualifications Experience in bed management and EMR systems
