Patient Care Technician

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.  

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of one of the following: 

* Nursing Assistant Program
* Medical Assistant Program
* Equivalent work history in a patient care environment
* Rotation with total patient care at Nursing School

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

BLS      
 
Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of phlebotomy, EKG, pulse oximetry and blood glucose screening
 
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
