One California Responsibilities: Position Summary: Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care, and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support. Qualifications: Required: * One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department, ambulance, fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required. * Current BLS certification required. * Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1, 2021 for all hires/transfers) required. * Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. Preferred: * EKG experience preferred.
