Patient Care Technician - 2 North - Surgical/Ortho - Lutheran
Shift: Days - Full Time and Part Time
Day/Evenings - Full Time and Part Time
Evenings - Full Time and Part Time
Night - Full Time and Part Time
Weekend Package Days and Nights; Full Time and Part Time
Weekend Rotation; Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
Shift Differential for qualifying shifts
$3,000 Sign On Bonus for qualifying candidates
2 North is a 30 bed medical-surgical unit that provides acute care services to inpatients and observation patients. The unit specializes in Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, and Abdominal Surgery. 2N also can care for patients requiring remote telemetry. Our patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult and aging adult.
Responsibilities:
* PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
* Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
* Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
* Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
Qualifications:
* Must be 16 years old or older.
* Minimum of 75 hour Certified Nursing Aid certification preferred. Indicate on your application which CNA certification you possess (75 hour, 120 hour or 150 hour).
* Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
