Overview: Position: Patient Care Technician Location: Positions available at Methodist, Lutheran, and Methodist West Shift: Part-Time Day/ Evening hours; 12, 16, 20, or 24 hours per week. Weekend and Holiday rotation. Part Time Benefits Eligible * Provides direct care for patients. * This position is designed specifically for High School students who participate in School to Work, Internship or similar programs or are looking for part time work with guaranteed hours to gain experience in a healthcare role. Shift Differentials: * Shift differential of $2.65/hr for hours worked 3pm-11pm * Shift differential of $2.65/hr for hours worked from 11pm-7am * Weekend shift differential of $2.50/hr for hours worked between Friday 11pm to Monday 7am Join us and make a difference in the lives of patients while building a rewarding career in healthcare. Qualifications: License(s)/Certification(s): * Basic Certified Nursing Aid certification required * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire. Other: * Must be 16 years of age or older * Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
